What is The Artist Colonnade?
Two things. Each city site is a gallery where local artists show original work and buyers contact them directly. We also give artists a ready-made website of their own, designed to show off art — paintings, drawings, photographs, prints, ceramics and more — without any technical work.
What plans are there, and what do they cost?
- The Artist Sidewalk — free; one piece. Shown on your city site only.
- The Artist Easel — $144/yr ($12/mo), or $15/mo month to month; up to 10 pieces. Your city plus 2 nearby cities in your region.
- The Artist Studio — $300/yr ($25/mo), or $30/mo month to month; up to 25 pieces. Your city plus every other city in your region.
- The Artist Colonnade — $336/yr ($28/mo), or $35/mo month to month; unlimited pieces. Featured on the National Showcase and reachable from every city.
Which plans include a website of my own?
Every paid plan. The Artist Easel gives you your own website with a slideshow and music from our library. The Artist Studio adds your own welcome-page words and background photos. The Artist Colonnade adds your own music and your own web address (for example, yourname.com). The free Artist Sidewalk is a single listing on your city site, without a website.
Can I see what my website would look like?
Yes. Each paid plan has a live demo filled with sample art — the links are on your city’s home page. Your own name and work take the sample’s place.
How does the free trial work?
Pay yearly and your first 30 days are free; pay monthly and your first 10 days are free. A card is required to start, but nothing is charged during the trial. We email you a reminder before your first charge (7 days before on yearly plans, 3 days before on monthly plans).
Will my price go up?
No. The price you sign up at is yours for as long as you stay subscribed.
Can I cancel?
Yes, anytime, from your own admin page — no phone call or email needed. If you cancel during the free trial, nothing is charged.
What if I am not happy?
Our promise: Not happy? Yearly plans get a full refund within 30 days of your first charge, and a refund for unused months after that. Monthly plans can cancel anytime, and if a charge catches you by surprise, tell us within 7 days for a full refund.
Do you take a commission on sales?
No. Buyers contact you directly, and you keep everything you sell for.
Do I need any technical skills?
No. You add and remove your work yourself from your own admin page, any time. There is no build fee and nothing is charged up front.
Can I use my own web address?
Yes, on The Artist Colonnade plan. There is a step-by-step guide to connecting one.
How do I start with the free listing?
Use Submit your work on your city site. You can move up to a paid plan later.
